Zapata County ISD Summer Seamless Program Begins June 5, 2023
Zapata County ISD's Annual Summer Feeding Program will serve free, nutritious meals at all participating feeding sites to children 18 years of age and under this summer.
Meals will be provided at 9 different sites Monday-Friday, in combination of school campuses and community sites.

The 5th grade and G.T. students from A. L. Benavides Elementary School participated in a College and Career Readiness field trip to Laredo, Texas. They visited the Planetarium at Texas A&M International University for a show to explore the relationship between Earth, Moon, and Sun. Students also visited the Laredo Water Museum where they were engaged in activities and informed to respect and protect one of the most precious resources, water. These experiences exposed students to the science Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. A big THANK YOU to our Science Teacher- Rebecca (BECKY) Gonzalez and Jackie Guerra for challenging our students to the next level.
